Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, the Hon Audley Shaw, today (March12, 2019) outlined several measures to curb illegal fishing in Jamaican waters at a media briefing on the conch industry at his Hope Gardens offices. Bureau of Standards Jamaica appoints Hopeton Heron as Executive Director

KINGSTON, JAMAICA: Senator Matthew Samuda, Chairman of the Standards Council has announced that Hopeton Heron, a former Deputy Director General of the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR), has been appointed Executive Director of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ), effective 01 March 2019.
